ABOUT

Jamal Francis is an Architect by profession and has been practicing Architecture in Saint Lucia and the Caribbean for 18 years, but has 26 years of experience in the construction industry. He started off as a Lab Technician with C.O Williams Ltd, then moved up to assistant batcher before going to Cuba to study Architecture. 
Since his return he has worked in a number of capacities including:
•    Assistant Architect on the Gros Islet and Marigot schools, 
•    Architectural Engineer at C.O. Williams Precast Ltd, 
•    Assistant Architect on the St. Lucia National Hospital (now OKEU), 
•    Lead Architect on many commercial and residential projects around the island.
He has further training in: 
•    Post-tension concrete design, placing and supervision;
•    Precast concrete design and production
•    Arbitration and dispute resolution
•    Project management
•    and General Insurance 
He is a registered Architect, a LEED Green Associate, President of the Institute of Architects of St. Lucia, and the proprietor of J Francis Architecture, which is a resident company of The Design House Ltd, a consultancy specialising in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
